NC's Blue Ridge Parkway

Summer is right around the corner!  How about a vacation?  From the Southern Appalachian Mountains in the west to the Atlantic Ocean and the Outer Banks in the east, the opportunities for fun recreation and exploration abound in North Carolina.

Let's take a look at the mountains, specifically the Blue Ridge Parkway.  This road traverses 469 scenic miles from the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina.  The NC Literary Map has several titles pertaining to this unique feature of our state.
